A tailored approach for the Amazon region is needed, if we want to strengthen the climate resilience of Amazon cities. This approach should also be included in national public policies for sustainable urban development.
This Policy Brief presents data on the context of cities in Amazonia; highlights the main lessons learned and results of the Mentorshipcarried out by the ANDUS Project; and recommends strategies to strengthen land-use planning processes which suit the reality of Amazonian cities.
